Tape a Student Day

This morning we taped Miranda to a pillar in the team area. We did this for enjoyment and, more importantly, to raise money for our school's food drive. Here is a slideshow of pictures from the event.

1. the black hills formed from different rocks depositing on top of eachother. Then an uplift happened so the black hills looked like a hill or small mountain. After millions of years the black hills eroded and the height got smaller and the schist and granite that was on the bottom is now on top.
2. Without the sand and other minerals that built the badlands up there would be no badlands and there would be nothing to weather or erode.
3. I think the black hills were not totally uplifted but slowly going up. And in 40 million years the badlands will be very short because of weathering and erosion.
